Dietmar Zimmermann is a highly respected Senior Executive and Technical Consultant with over 30 years of hands-on, international experience in complex architectural metal systems. He has successfully delivered numerous high-profile projects across Asia, China, Europe, and Africa.
Since entering the industry, Dietmar has focused on architectural metal engineering, encompassing metal roofing, façade systems, ceiling structures, and green roofing solutions. He excels at integrating traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering calculations and provides senior technical governance, authors technical standards, reviews major project proposals, and offers on-site critical-node support for the company’s most demanding assignments.
His notable projects include large-scale airports and transit stations in Singapore, luxury resorts and hotels, Shanghai Disneyland, extensive roofing and façade projects at Malta International Airport, and the National Stadium in Singapore, where he served as the consultant for the world’s largest retractable roof, exceeding tens of thousands of square meters in scope. Dietmar's ability to coordinate within multicultural construction environments, coupled with his expertise in risk management and technical oversight, makes him a trusted advisor for clients and partners alike. He combines deep craft mastery with modern engineering rigor to deliver technically demanding, large-scale projects from concept through turnkey delivery.

Gavin Luke is a distinguished Project Director with 20 years' leadership experience delivering large scale architectural metal projects. He has led several high-caliber projects throughout Asia, notably in China, Singapore, and Cambodia.
After earning a Master’s degree from Tongji University — one of China’s most respected institutions for engineering and architecture — Gavin developed a strong foundation in advanced structural design and construction methodology. That academic grounding, coupled with extensive onsite experience, gives him the technical depth to interpret complex designs and the cultural and professional fluency to coordinate effectively with local partners, consultants and regulatory authorities throughout the region.
At GT Building Systems, Gavin specializes in the intricate realm of architectural metal projects, focusing on metal roofing, cladding, and curtain wall systems. His strengths lie in seamlessly merging innovative engineering techniques with effective project management practices, ensuring that every initiative adheres to the highest quality and safety standards.
Among his significant projects are the Shangri-La Hotel Phase 2 in Pudong, the CEO Tower in Beijing, and the Hefei International Airport. Gavin is known for his capacity to manage diverse teams and coordinate large-scale undertakings, making him a highly regarded figure in the industry. He leverages his deep technical knowledge and commitment to client engagement to drive projects through every stage, from initial concept to completion.

Dr. Scott Gao (Gao Shanxing) is a design leader with more than 20 years’ experience delivering large, commercially driven architecture projects across Mainland China, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. He specialises in complex mixeduse, retail and hospitality developments and is recognised for turning ambitious architectural concepts into buildable, valuecreating outcomes.
As a handson principal designer, Dr. Gao combines strategic vision with technical rigour to lead multidisciplinary teams through every stage of a project—from early concept design and façade strategy to construction coordination and client handover. He brings deep expertise in façade and curtainwall systems, theatre planning and the unique programmatic challenges of large commercial precincts. His practical approach helps resolve regulatory and construction complexities while preserving design intent and maximizing longterm operational value for clients.
Before joining GT, Dr. Gao was principal project leader at major international studios including Aedas and IDA in Hong Kong and Haisum in Shanghai, where he led large design teams and highprofile commissions. He also holds teaching and advisory appointments with universities and industry bodies and has published on façade design, BIM applications and placemaking—bridging academic research with practical delivery.
